I was wondering if anyone could tell how deep (holes) I should looking to trap creek shiners? I went out today to a spot on a creek that was great prior to ice up (4-5ft.)for shiners. I dropped a camera down a couple of hole and there was nothing. Should I be looking for deeper holes or do they burrow in the leaves on the bottom. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
