Vexilar DD100

Just wondering about replacing my battery indicator with the new DD100. I have a pro pack and wondering if I can just take the pins out from the old battery indicator or if I have to drill this out and put some bolts through it to attach it...how are people attaching these?

Pop them out (save) and pop them back in on the DD100. There is a video in the other dd-100 thread below.

(Edited as DD100 does not come with new pins, must reuse old ones)

I didn't get new pins but if you take care popping out the old ones they can be reused. Other option is to just bolt it on, which if my one post doesn't hold (hurt it a bit taking it out) that is what I may end up doing.

Ok so I figured out the pins...watched the video and now this...

I went to take off the wires and ran into this issue

How do you get around this with the tri beam ducer on my fl20? I read you can cut it but will that be ok...just checking before I ruin something to see if anyone else has any other things they have done...thanks
