Maximzing Sled Real Estate (Sled Mods)

So my mode of transportation is usually by foot until the ice thickens up enough to be able to drive.

Currently I own a Otter Sport Sled (size M) and I'm looking for ideas to be able to get the auger and or hub house out of the way so I can maximize the room within the sled.

I have small sled with 2 bucket spots from worlds foremost outfitter store. since I did not want my auger taking up so much room in one spot next to 5 gal pails I always carried it "across" the top of the sled but then it kept falling off, i had 2 "u shaped" screw in bike hooks, drilled one hole on each side of sled in front just behind where the floor starts to raise up and the auger neck and top fit in it perfectly, it also gives me some "weight" on front of sled so i don't "pop" it up when pulling and have stuff fall out the back

Excellent idea.. These are the types of ideas I'm looking for to help stabilize my auger/hub house.. because my current system is rather unstable.
