2000 Beartracker

Have an opporunity to purchase a 2000 Beartracker with 4 new mudlite tires and rims,tune-up and all new brake pads for 2600.
Will usually use for ice fishing and riding into remote trout ponds(New England Area).Any thoughts or comments,1st time buyer?

If you plan on using the atv on the ice and in any deep snow (ice fishing) I'd consider a 4 wheel drive instead of the 2 wheel drive Bear Tracker.
I have a 2001 Big Bear that's the same engine but 4 wheel drive and it's been a great work horse in the woods and on the ice. I plow with it too.....but I don't think a 2 wheel drive would get me and my gear to the spots I go.
