saw these on my way out from adjusting a tree stand this a.m. really pretty.

I believe they are Amanita muscaria which is also known as the mushroom from Alice and Wonderland......

I was out for a walk in the woods yesterday, and I saw a few of them myself. I've seen a few around St Cloud before, but they seem to be much more common farther north.

I found a few spots along the Arrowhead Trail this summer where they were EVERYWHERE. Dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of them. Pretty cool sight.

First one in the above post is a nice chicken of the woods, rest are fly agarics (poisonous). Beautiful shots!
