Goose Loads

I am just curious to hear some of your favorite shot sizes and brands of goose ammo. I like to shoot nothing smaller than #2s for geese and that is for close range and BBBs or Fs a little farther out. I am not sure what brands or kinds (Tungsten Bistmuth, ect..)of shot to use for those weary geese that like to just hang on the edge of shooting range. I will never shoot at a goose that I am not sure I am going to cleanly kill or injure and chase for three miles until I alsmost die of a heart attack!!!!!!!! Some ideas and/or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

It all depends on what gauge of gun you have for 12 gauge I use federal BBB that will knock a goose down from a good ways out

I usually use whatever is on sale at the local fleet farm. I do like BBB or BB.......

I let my gun tell me what to use. I patterned it with several loads and my everyday goose load is Remington 3&1/2 inch high velocity BB. When I hunt Lac Qui Parle, where you can only take six shells into the bloind, I use Federal high velocity Tungstun-iron BB. Each gun is a bit different on what loads they like and will pattern well.
