Can'tFishEnuf
I was out on Saturday and the engine ran fine. After fishing a spot and having the engine idle for about 20 minutes, I was ready to move to a new spot and when I tried to give the engine gas it just started to sputter and run really rough. I could not get it over 2000 RPMs. I just idled back to the landing and loaded it up. As I was checking spark plugs, fuel filter, etc. I noticed that when I pumped up the bulb, the fuel pump started leaking gas. I would guess this is the problem. Does anyone have any experience with this? It looks like it is a pretty easy part to replace and I could do it myself. But I would guess it's not a cheap part and before I try do it myself I would sure appreciate any tips or things to be careful about. Hookmaster
On my 1999 F100 I had both replaced under warranty. Bad casting of the aluminum.
