duckbill
What time of day were you there? Go in the morning or the evening. Some lakes look bare during the day but during the movement hours you will see a big differnce. I know that the lake that I hunt had a lot of ducks on this morning but if you would have been there anytime after 7:30am this morning you would have been saying the same thing about this lake. They all went out to feed at the same time today.
Seabass77
Someone gave me a tip on a lake west of the cities that can have some great hunting. I went and scouted it out and didn't see hardly any ducks but it was packed with cormorants, seagulls, and pelicans. Do you think that this is a good indicator of a good duck hunting lake or is this meaningless? Thanks for your help.
