marcell duck areas

Me and fishkid now have access to land on Grave lake near marcell. We would like to hear about any areas near there for duck hunting. Early or late in the season. Its tough to get up there and scout around. We will be going up there labor day weekend to check out the fishing on the lake and some duck sounding areas with a little help from our friends and F.M.

I think your best bet would be to look around for some beaver ponds in the area that are close to a farm that grows corn or other food that ducks like. Other than that, you might have to head west a little, over to the Winnie/Bowstring area.

Don't ignore some of the smaller rice filled lakes in the area, or even "bog" lakes without any rice.
