I saw a neighbor on our lake has his kayaks resting on a couple of pipes he has running through the bottom of his aluminum dock this past summer. So imagine a couple of pipes running out horizontally from underneath the dock and the kayak overturned and resting on the two pipes. I was thinking of giving this a try this year. I also considered buying some commercially made racks that hook onto the dock but don't want to spend the dough. Any thoughts on or examples of how people store their kayaks dockside and not on shore?
