slipperybob
I think they changed the 32" mediums into a reel seat instead of a solid cork handle.

MN BassFisher
Interesting, I don't have any 30"+ rods in my collection yet (will probably get a laker rod when I move soon to CO) but I was excited to see the reel seat on the longer Croix rods. I have really enjoyed the cork handled Premiers in 24" and 28" but I've never had an ice rod with a reel seat, seems like it'd be a nice change. If you don't mind me asking, why do you guys dislike the reel seat?
slipperybob
I prefer a reel seat. Much more solid feeling with a big fish on.One of the advantages with just the cork handle is that it makes the rod much lighter in feel. Hence it can contribute to overall more sensitivity while jigging.
