I won't lie and say I'm not stoked...I definitely am...but how does a book a third the size of the Lord of the Rings trilogy become three movies, as well? I just hope they don't ruin it for the sake of the extra billion or so dollars they'll make from three movies versus just one as it could have (or perhaps should have) been. Other than that, I loved the LOTR movies and trust that Peter Jackson will do these movies justice, too.

It was a good movie, much like the first LOTR movie it was more story than action. But I am looking forward to the next 2 in the trilogy as they should provide plenty of action.
