The author is basically saying part of what's keeping us warm it seems are some high pressure systems that are preventing that cold arctic weather from moving southward. Our warm weather from earlier in the year has been pretty bottled up over us and hasn't been pushed out, so we may not get a big cold snap any time soon to make ice

46 and rainy this morning.. acid to any ice that was forming previously. I'm just hoping that the lakes an hour and a half to two hours north are having colder weather than here in Minneapolis.

the fifteen day forecast is basically below freezing for highs and lows are single digits to teens. sunday is a -3 ...im 3 hours west of you.
