ThunderLund78
Have had my hub-style portable for just a year and it's got a small hole. Totally my fault, I was being less than careful while messing around with it in my garage last year. Would like to patch it before getting out this year.Cablea's sells Tear-aid and it sounds like it's got good reviews for the most part. Has anyone used this product with success (or otherwise) for a portable? Would ideally like to get a matching color patch from the manufacturer but they don't seem to make one. leech~~
Are you thinking of Tear Mender? That stuff works great on canvas repairs. I had mice chew a basket ball size hole in the top of a one year old 8 X 8 porty I had. Got a peice of blue canvas and the stuff stuck great. It comes out kind of milky and looks like it isn't going to work at first but after a few min's of holding the two parts together. You would have a hard time pulling them apart. I got some at Fleet. It's suppose to be for wadders and stuff like that?
dan z
Leech, if no wires are showing I believe it would work. Aqua seal is flexible so it won't hinder the performance of the cable

Ben626
i used a iron onn patch kit on the interior of my flip over. I had 8 holes fixed in ten minutes. I got the patches from walmart and paid $4 for a assortment kit. the only bad thing there isnt much of a color asortment black, blue, green, white.
