IAFishhawk
I have a Yamaha T8 kicker that I installed a Con Trollking throttle control on last summer, it worked great all last summer. This year has been nothing but problems, it runs fine at high RPM's at 4MPH or faster, but when I try to get down to trolling speed the RPM's drop off and the motor stalls. I can run the kicker as a tiller and it runs fine but as soon as I turn on the Con Trollking the issue starts. Anyone have any ideas on what to check? I really prefer to run the boat from the helm over running it as a tiller as I'm closer to the GPS and depth finder.
JohnMickish
Are you saying the kicker runs fine at low speeds when you use the tiller handle, but when you try to run slow with the Control King it stalls out? All the Control Kind does is run the throttle with a servo just like you would with the handle.
