Any helpful hints on changing the bilge pump on a trophy 180? I have looked at it a little bit but its held in pretty good, is there a bracket it unclips from or something ?? Thanks!

What year? On our '97 it was one that we should have been able to just snap the top in (it wasn't "cartridge" in the sense of a simple cartridge, it was the whole top, white, part of the unit needed) if you can get to it.

The bracket on ours was broken, so had to go another route, and put in a different kind. We added a new livewell pump, and second bilge pump at the same time, since we have to pull the rear livewell out to be able to really work back there. Was pretty tight.
