How should I use this rod (prototype) ??

Question

I was recently given a prototype St. Croix spinning rod. The guy who gave it to me said he was given 6 by a friend who worked for St. Croix. The cork handle has writing on it which leads me to believe it is a 6'8" medium action rod with an extra fast tip. It has no other markings on it and is blue in color. What type of fishing would you use this for and what reel would you add to it?? I'm seeing a Cabela's trip in my future grin and would like to match this up right.

Thanks for any help,

Thanks for the reply mnfishinguy:

I was going through my Cabela's catalog and I believe that this is a Tournament Walleye rod. I couldn't figure out what the other letters were but they look like TWS. Thanks for confirming what action rod this is and I will definitely look at the Stradic reels.

Would I be OK using this combo to fish jigging spoons too?
