tulikow
I have had good luck using 6 inch Slug-Gos for pike. I would like to try some other plastics for muskies and pike. Any recommendations would be helpful. Also, I have recently bought a few packs of lures called Manns Jellyhoos, has anyone here tried these before? MuskyMark
tulikow,Lot's of great plastics out there. Reaper tails (with a Cobra Jig) have done well on pike for me. Then you've got Bull Dawgs/Spring Dawgs, J-Mac Jigs, and Lindy Tiger Tubes. More than that, but those are the plastics I've fished with for muskies. Good luck. tulikow
Musky MarkThank you for the helpful reply. I think I might have a pack or two of Reapers, I hope I get a chance to try them soon.
Cooter
Don't forget the big lizards available, they are a good substitute for a reaper on a jig.
Woodtick
Sluggos get a lot of looks from Muskie on water where the fish have seen a constant diet of bucktails and hardbaits.
paperlipz
When you fish the cobra/reaper combo, how do you retrieve it. Mine doesn't swim too well, maybe the head is too heavy? Or is it a verticl presentation only? The motor oil tails are very good looking in the water though.
