Try the deep weed edge especially the windblown side. Sunrise, sunset best times but there is no real dead time. Rocks and points also hold fish. I troll more than I cast to cover more water - muskies can be anywhere on the weed edge on Tonka. Don't forget to check out the deeper water by the weed edges. I have caught more than few holding about 10 to 15 feet down in 30 ft depth off the weed edge which right now is about 15ft. As for colors black with either orange or yellow work. I have had success throwing big white spinnerbaits also. Lastly boat traffic doesn't bother the fish nearly as much as it bothers the fisherman so don't worry about getting away from the cruisers.

Amen to that. Boat traffic in my experience means little to a hot musky. I have seen and caught fish in the wakes of these boats. I have a picture of a good friend holding a nice 45" with an Al & Alma's cruiser buzzing right by.
