outdoor ran
Dosen't surprise me no one repled. Musky fisherman are pretty tight lipped about them river skies. Theres really no way to cut corners. The river takes alot of your time to find a fish. But thers some really nice ones. You just don't know where your going to find them. One day you'll catch one in 6 inchs of water then in 30 ft the next time. A good place to start is at the boy scout landing. Theres enough bays there to keep you busy. Try down in Sprit lake and Pokegama bay. Just be carefull going into bays, you can go from 20 ft to 6 inchs in a few feet. I would just throw on bucktail and start thugging and exploring. Watch the other musky fisherman they'll show you some spots. I like to use a black jackpot but they blow up and miss everytime. I'm not sure if this is because of the dark water? I have a few good spots but just can't give them up on here. Hope this helps ya alittle. Not sure if your a deep, shallow, rock, weeds kind of guy. good luck
