plastics for skis

Recommended Posts

The subject came up in another post about plastics...thought it would be worth exploring. What's everyones experience. Drop shotting is hot for just about every other species....I've been toying with the idea on skis, just havn't got out yet. I'm thinking a big grub or slug go on a dropshot on a weededge.....?? Worth a shot maybe. Anyone else have any good ideas?

I have had luck and heard of luck with large black/silver slug go as a pitch back lure to a follower. This week on Cass I will have one rod laying next to me with a Slug go and this will be my pitch back for a follower I can't get to go on my other lures! If I have a fish follow I will give it about another 2-3 casts then switch over to howg wobbler or slug go! 4-5 cast then move from the area and come back at low light periods, if fish is big enough to come back too.
