Leaders for Musky's

I have for the most part been a walleye fisher mand and Pike. I never use leaders for the most part but on occassion I will for pike if fishing water that have the larger pike population. My question is do you Musky guys generally use a big leader or not. I am going to be spending some time on Vermillion this year and curious if this may be the way to go.

Mr Pike, Most use some kinda leader. I use different leghts for different lures. 60 to 80 lb steel. Good fishin

I make my steel leaders about a foot long, 125 pound wire. About a foot and a half long for braided leaders for bucktails, 100 pound braided wire.
