cannon question

Hey-

I got a cannon question. I've been doing some pretty sweet shooting with my 2TI but it seems that the longest I can have my shutter open is 30 seconds. Is there a way I can program my camera for longer exposure time or is it pre determined by factory settings?

Be nice to get some night shooting in.

Not a canon guy but in shutter priority or manual you likely should have bulb mode available. But of course you'll need a "bulb" to use it.
