&JAG
I have a Polaris X2 w/a storage box on front. Looking to put together ideas for auger rack... Does anyone have or seen a good set up for this wheeler?
LightningBG
If it has a hitch receiver on back, I would try to rig up something for that.
lutzy
I would try to make something like this. It was way cheaper to make than ones on the market and it supports the head and most of those don’t. I am biased but I think is works great.http://www.hotspotoutdoors.com/forum/ubb...unt#Post2395187
EMCS_retired
I have the same rig, here is a pic of what I have done to carry my auger. The auger would slide around on the plastic and the tie down rails would chip the paint on the auger, also I didn't want to drill holes to mount anything to the storage box. The trucker style rubber bungee straps are strong enough and obviously work well otherwise they would be using something else. The hook ends capture to the rails underneath and prevent the whole thing from moving. When I'm on the ice, I can just hook the carrier in place (i.e., not criss-cross over the top of the auger but run them straight along the sides) and move around all day without worry. And, the whole thing is removable in seconds. Hope this halps.
