Ranger Steering

Hi Guys, I have a 2007 Polaris Ranger 500 EFI that I have owned for a year. I have about 330 hrs on it. I love the machine but I am starting to get a little play in the steering wheel, I know a little play is normal, but this seems to be more then "normal" it seems like something is loose underneath in the linkage. Does anyone have any experience in this. I tighten a bolt that was loose (was a Bit** to get at) underneath in the linkage and that helped a bit, but after a while it seemed to be back to where it was. Any help or recommendations would be great!

Also, how many Grease Zerks are on this machine. I can only find one, on a drive shaft in the front. I am guessing there is more, but I have pulled the tires off, pulled the plastic off the bottom and can only find 1.

Sounds like the tie rod ends on the steering a worn out. I would guess if you jacked the machine up and gently moved the front tire side to side you would see the play in there. Also a ball joint on the lower of the strut. Then start looking at the pivot bushings on the control arms in the front. Sometimes they look good but will move back and forth on the pivot shaft when they are worn. Sometimes it helps to unbolt the lower shock bolt to identify the worn out parts. Most of the suspension points now have greasless bushings and don't have zerks. There is a grease zerk on the rear of the driveshaft where it slides on to the transmission.

I have jacked up the front end, there is no play in the tires. When I lift the hood up so I get access to the steering arm, the arm seems to be loose, the joint that is up close to the actual steering wheel. I might just bring it in and have a dealer take a look. Thanks.
