mrpike1973 Posted January 18, 2012 Share Posted January 18, 2012 hi i have a 1978 evinrude 15 hp short shaft moter. runs good pretty good shape however ive been told it will be very hard to get parts for later is this true? i have thought about trading it for something newer 95 and up around $1000 bucks would you do this or just keep it i,m in no hurry to get rid of it just dont want to be stuck with a clunker i cant get parts for. it was around 700 i paid for it and thats about what i see them sell for any thoughts would be great Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
jentz Posted January 18, 2012 Share Posted January 18, 2012 First 700 is really high unless its immaculate.Parts are no problem, you can get them at any dealer or online.So many of these motors around you'll get parts for years to come!
