Antique Duck Decoys

Recommended Posts

So I have these old Duck Decoys that I dont know anything about. I know that some are very valuable. The only one that has any sort of writing on it is the Mallard and it says W.J Ruppel from Sheboygan,WI. Any info would be greatly appreciated! smile The Mallard by W.J Ruppel is made from cork while the other are solid wood. They all seem to have glass eyes except for the dark gray one which has brass eyes.

The middle one looks like one I picked up a few years back by the Victor Animal Trap Company not worth much but nice too look at. The bottom maybe a Mason but I dont know that much about it. There is a group of collectors in MN that could help identify who the makers were. I have e-mailed them in the past and gotten help with some of mine.
