Metro starting to pick up?

Haven't been out much in the metro due to the heat and high water temps. The fish were starting to move better the last few times out though. I'll probably get out the next couple of nights before MN turns into a rainforest again.

They were active up north last weekend!

Been on Tonka 5 times for about a total of about 35 hours this year. This is hands down the worst fishing I have ever experienced. Always with atleast 2-3 guys in the boat each time fishing are tails off. Using everything in the box, fishing in, fishing out. We have seen one fish for every outing and had one on.

Talked to numerous others out on Tonka and it sounds terrible as well.

Is there to much bait??

Is there just less muskies?? More pressure on the fish more mortality??

Do we just suck as fisherman??

These were the ideas we through around last night as we flogged the water with 3 guys during a full moon of July to no avail.

We have boated a few on Tonka this year and have seen fish every outing. Compared to years past I have been doing better on Tonka than previous years. Also fishing deeper than I have in years past too! I think we have been out 6 or 7 times too.
