Classic Car Price??

Recommended Posts

Look at all the car sales resources you can find. (I mean people advertising cars for sale--websites and magazines at gas stations and such.) Compare what's being advertised with what your friend is offering and give a little windage either way. (Lower the price if the car advertised is nicer that your friend's, and raise it if the car being advertised is rougher than your friend's car.) Keep in mind that the price in the ad is probably higher that what the seller really wants/ will take for the car.

You might want to make a table of cars offered for sale (including your friend's car), the quality/ condition of the different parts of the car, how they compare to your friend's car, and what the asking price is. When you summarize the table, you might have a good starting point.

You could also try posting to a classic mustang forum, those folks would probably be able to give you a ballpark number pretty quickly.
