Looking for some info from my waterfowl experts in regards to pros/cons on my thought process into buying a Beavertail 2000 Sneak Boat.

Aspect of use: Floating creeks/small rivers. Navigating smaller ponds and lakes.

Gear and load: 2guys, 2 seats, dog, decoys, guns and a dozen dead ducks.

I've done alot of reading on these, having a mix of thoughts about them, but figure there has to be someone here that has one or has used one. I'd like your feedback about it. I've looked at other models, brands, but just not sure about most of them as they are more of layout boats than anything. We do 6-8 hour floats, and comfortability is a must. I would like to stick at around the $1,000 mark top end. Open to any an all suggestions, just trying to get away from the typical jon boat as they are just to tippy and won't take the load out i'm looking for. Thanks Ya'll

I have one and hunt out of it primarily by myself. With a three dozen magnums a big trolling motor battery, trolling motor, shotgun, lunch, thermoes, gear bag, push pole and my 250# I am loaded. The boat is still stable but sits low in the water.

I have also gone with just a kayak paddle and less decoys and it works well either way. I have always shot sitting or laying down so I am not sure how stable it would be to stand in with beaching it somehow but I would not try to shoot standing.

I also have a blind for mine but I have never even put it on.
