MinnesotaMike
Took my 2003 Yamaha Big Bear out of the garage Sunday and noticed gas running out of the over flow tube from the carb. I will assume that the needle is stuck. I usually run both wheelers during the winter but decided to put one away half way through winter. When I park the wheelers I shut the gas off and run it dry, every time.I am not mechanically inclined so rather than wreck it I thought I could have some one rebuild it. There is a dealership up the street where they used to hold the Hay Days grass drags, I think there rates are $85 an hour. How long should it take them to rebuild the carb???Thx, Mike
fishing tech
I put a needle and seat in my sportsman 500 last year. just the needle and seat was $70. the entire carb kit was like 2$200 I think. I just did the needle and seat and run some seafoam in the next 2 tanks of gas. So to answer your ? couple hours labor plus parts.
