Are the big lakes open?

Can anyone tell me if Okiboji and Spirit are open.

North half of Spirit is out right now. Probably going to sink out of sight tonite.

East is open as far as you can see from the bridge at Okoboji.

West is still locked up, with many, many open holes in the ice. Should be ice free by weekend if we dont get anymore wind. If we get some wind, itll clear out earlier.

Should be open next week easily, great time for some early smallie fishing...about all you can fish for till may...

Esox, can you shoot me a message or post when West O, opens up. I figure that if west is open then everything else will be open.

Sorry was gone to the Cities over the weekend. West opened Thursday, everythings open and being fished. No docks out yet other than HWY-9 bridge on East, Triggs on Upper Gar, Tri Boji on West and Templar Park on Spirit, these never get removed. Rest should be put in place in the next couple weeks.
