Depressing news, my lake winter killed this year, lottsa big pike in there, I sure wish the DNR would let us save them and move them to other lakes that need them.

Makes a guy sick to see 10+ lb northerns floating in these winterkill lakes.

Sorry, I just needed to vent.

Contact Joe Stewig at the Montrose DNR office. he is the assistant supervisor for the area. if they don't cover the lake where this happened they can direct you to which office covers it. Joe goes by Wareagle on HSO/FM. his email address is joe.stewig@state dot mn dot us he may be your best bet.

I would rather not say here.

There were at least two in Isanti county and neither were on the liberalized list.

Can you send me a PM or email at trappingaddiction@hotmail dot com with the lake names? I can see if I can find some info for you. I have talked with Joe and Paul (Montrose area supervisor) several times through email.
