jeffs ice-o-miniums lake of the woods

hi i was wondering what u thought of jeffs operation up at lake of the woods? me and a few buddies booked a trip u there in early march and i was just wondering what are the accommodations like and did you catch any fish.

I stayed with them about six years ago and the houses were not in the best of shape. kind of old and not real clean, but they were very nice people and got you anything you needed.But we caught the most fish I have ever caught on LOW in all the times I've been there, so we didn't mind the condition of the house too much.

We've done great there over the last 3-4 years for fishing. The shack we hit 4-5 weeks ago was in good condition. The paint was fresh, sealed tight, had both hot plate/gas range, inside rest-room(?), was wired for our generator and had gas lights as well. While the fishing was slower than I'd ever seen it, it was also -38! We still ate fish and brought 8 nice sized walleyes home between the 4 of us.

He's really a nice guy and did what he could to make sure we were comfortable, including bringing out some bigger bait - I like big bait.
