Reservoir Dawg
At a local reservoir where I fish a lot I can always catch decent size crappies in the deeper part of the basin in December and early Janurary. Then in mid-winter the bite slows and all I can get are smaller fish. are the bigger fish there and just won't bite or have they moved off to shallower water? Jim Uran
O2 starts to deplete in the deeper parts of the lake too, that will push the fish somewhere where they can find some 02 or roaming suspended somewhere.
