Newbie needs info

Hey all! I'm from out of state and have a question.My 3 sons and I are planning on visiting the Babbitt area the week of June 4-10 and will be fishing predominantly Birch Lake.I am visiting freinds so have lodging and general guiding and directions taken care of but am looking for info or advice as to what we can expect fishingwise at that lake during that week in June.We are bringing a boat and want to fish for Pike,Crappie,Smallies or whatever.Probably mostly spinning rods,and baitcasting but are also packing the flyrods with the idea of doing some panfish/bass fishing, etc. with them but are also wondering about smaller trout streams nearby or south of that area. Any advice or suggestions are apreciated.
