Line (Fire or Mono)

I'm trying Spiderwire this year, apparantly doesn't get the fuzzies that Fireline gets. Nonetheless, I love the no stretch small diamater lines for sensitivity and hook setting. It doesn't take much to acheive the hookset with the superlines. I recommend them only if you have good feel for what's happening with you're jig, and you have high quality graphite rods. Otherwise, you would not get much benefit from them.

Yo-Zuri Hybrid is a good choice, I have used spiderwire it seems to wanna jump off the reel all the time. Hybrid is a heavier line meaning increased casting distance, and does not absorb water like mono does which decreases the life of the line. The fluorocarbon coating is highly abraison resistant and it blocks out the harmful UV rays that break down normal mono line.
