What have you guys come up with to remove the algea that has accumulated on the bottom of my aluminum boat? I was thinking of a good aluminum wheel cleaner, would that work?

I used a power washer and a scrub brush on a stick on mine, worked great. They do sell this stuff that works. I still have the bottle, never even opened it. I'll check what it is and post it when I get home.

Sorry it took so long to post back. I had some trouble with my p.c. Here is the name of that stuff. AQUA*SOL boat bottom cleaner. I got it Hallburg Marine in Wyoming, Mn. It says that it will remove all algae, lime and rust on boats, motors, and props. It does contain HYDROCHLORIC ACID. I hope this helps.

A friend of mine used soft scrub cleanser last year on his toons and it took it off real good. Then, wax it to help slow future build up.

50% of something is better than a 100% of nothing. Nice fish!
