Jiffy Pro 4 tool kit part ?

I picked up a Pro4 at the show opened it up found the parts tool kit, the DVD, the manual, oil, funnel, etc. I am going through the tool kit, I understand the plug wrench and the open end wrench, but what is the black elbow tube for?

Nothing on the DVD or in manual about it.

My only thought is it goes somewhere on the propane hose?

For what purpose?

Didn't see one at the show on any of the augers.

I have been calling Jiffy and I emailed but its been 3+ days and no response.. even had busy signal at times. They are oblivious-ly busy apparently so... anyone?

I actually just went out and looked at the box that mine came in and found that part. It would be something to add to the muffler if you wanted to deflect it down. The muffler comes straight out the back of the engine and this would give you the option of deflecting it down. Let me know if you have any other questions.

That is a great idea... now when I am tight up against my fish house walls it wont blast exhaust all over the walls. Not that the propane exhaust is that big of a deal... thats exactly why I bought it.

I used to have a coat that I would just leave outside the house I used to drill holes with and I would point the muffler at my old carhart and it would keep most of the fumes and smoke from the 2 cycle from getting on the walls, curtains etc. No more! ... looking forward to also not having to keep doors and windows open for a while to air it out. I can heat it up right away!
