Generators?

I've had one for about 15 years. It will definetly work.I assume your using it for a fish house. The one to get would be the one rated for camping. It's more quiet and a little less weight than the other coleman's. Those are usually rated at 1700-1800 watts. For around 400 bucks these will work fine, but your right they're no Honda.

The one we have sounds like a lawn mower running full tilt. No way I'd want that by me ice fishing. Use it for emergencys only or remote construction.

I've learned over the years that cheap usually comes with a price as I'm sure others have. After finding an add on muffler for it if there is such a thing. I would make sure it runs well both on and off load with no fluid leaks of any kind. If it's anything like my generator it sets for great periods of time with little or no use.

Not sure if my comments will be of any help but at least you've got me thinking that I need to pay some attention to my generator so it may be ready to go in time of need...

It's a 2009 so I don't think it's sat for too long.Again this is a deal I don't think I can pass on.I was just "fishing"around about input from Coleman users.Thanks to all replies I appreciate the input!c63
