LMITOUT Posted September 15, 2012 Share Posted September 15, 2012 The back of it has a small screw with different settings, try to turn it back and forth a couple or more times, be sure to end where it was before. These are watertight instruments but not waterproof, it could be maybe some moisture did corrode slightly the adjusting part. I think we have a winner! After working the setting dial as suggested, today I took the boat out and I didn't see one bobble in the tach needle and it responded to RPM changes smooth as glass.Thanks Valv!
