Yeah - I used to be cocky and say "Oh I'm a really strong swimmer... grew up swimming rivers... blah blah blah" and then my wife asked me "how well do you swim unconscious? Pretty well, I bet." and now I wear one almost all the time.

Also, if I may ask ya'll - please wear it if nothing else than to set a good example for the kids, who may be tempted, especially in the coming heat, to shed the vest when you're not looking.
