Ive got a 200e Yamaha 3 wheeler, shaft drive, when I got it it came with a cycle country plow, the brackets are already on the wheeler but I've never used it. The wheeler stays at the cabin so I thought I might give it a try this year, I assume I'll need chains but what about weights? or what else??

I was plowing with a 3 wheeler before there were 4 wheelers, and before anyone made plows for ATVs. I made my first one out of a 55 gallon drum that I cut and reinforced and made a mount for. I had a winch mounted to the front to raise and lower it too. You will find that it will push a good amount of snow in a straight line, but not too well if you need to steer much. Angling the blade slightly is ok, but heavy snow will push you sideways a lot easier than it will a 4wd. I had chains for mine and they helped a lot but I never added any weight. That would probably help if you are pushing larger amounts of snow.
