LwnmwnMan2
If the grass gets away from you, as in the last couple of weeks with all of the rain, or tis the wedding season and alot of us have weekends tied up, here are some tips to keep from having to take the extra time to bag.1. Raise the deck up an extra inch. This is cut less of the blade of grass. When you're done, you can then lower the mowing height to regular height within 2-3 days and cut it like normal.2. If you have large clumps in the grass, let them set for 2-3 hours, then raise the deck up an inch or so, and go over the grass a different direction. This will just "mow" the clumps and disperse the grass without bagging or raking.3. #2 is one of the reasons that people will go back and forth across the lawn, instead of "indy laps". The other reason is you'll keep the grass growing straighter, reducing the effects of tire wear on the grass.
