Friends of The Mississippi River, Great River Greening and Macalester College are having a Wetland Planting event MAY 3rd - 9am to Noon - at the Pine Bend Bluffs on the Mississippi - Katharine Ordway Natural History Study Area, Inver Grove Heights.
99 more volunteers are needed (I'm one). To get more information and/or volunteer contact Katie at 651-222-2193. Please mention that you are not a registered volunteer, so that you can give her your mailing address to get info.

Funding for this planting of native vegetation for wetland restoration is being provided by Minnesota Environment & Natural Resources Trust Fund.

I was turned on to the FMR by the Volunteer office at the DNR.
