What would be the absolute earliest time most people would target channels? With the warmer weather and the rivers around me starting to open up wide when do most get out for the fist time of the year? Also what kind of rigs and bait options go along with this early, cold, high water fishing? grin

I am going out this weekend, I have been out several times already this year. We are having a get together on the Horseshoe chain of lakes this Saturday at 8 am, come along to get in some ice cattin!
