On the brochure for the DF150 and 175 Suzuki says that the voltage regulator includes a battery isolator. From what I can gather, it will charge two batteries, but when they get low, it will isolate one to maintain enough cranking amps to start the motor, but charge both when running.

Has anyone out there used this feature and how effective is it? How difficult is it to hook up?
