If your plans include heading west to North Dakota, remember that Backwater Eddy is just south of Fargo off I-94.

My wife and I had a great outing on the Red River with Ed last week while on our trip that took us to Sakakawea, on to Teddy Roosevelt National Park and various other sites. Ed put us on channel cats in a matter of minutes.

My wife was delighted with the first channel cats she had ever caught -- and it was a pleasant departure from open water lake fishing to which she had become more accustomed. Remember Ed's country -- a fine river runs through it.
