2010 Buffalo Lake Ice Fishing Contest

Any ideas when this is going to be this year? I'd like to bring my kids and want to make sure we're in town that weekend.

call tosoro gas station in buffalo and ask them. they were one of the places selling tickets last year. I believe it is the first weekend of Februrary but am not 100% sure on that. if your interested the Maple lake contest is January 30th from 1PM to 3PM

I called and they havent been approached to sell tickets this year. I assume a date hasnt been set in stone but you're probably right that it'll be around the same weekend as last year.

you could also call the jaycees since it is their contest. maybe look for a buffalo jaycees web site. also check with pikes bait in buffalo they may know.

tomcat 41 any word on who will be selling the tickets this year. tesoro and a few other placed did last year but what about this year.

tomcat41 I actually answered my own question to you. I talked to my cousin who is one of the buffalo jaycees members and she said the tickets go on sale next week and that tesoro will be selling them again this year. it will run from 11AM to 2PM out from strugis park again this year.

I have to believe they will. I will send my cousin a message via facebook and ask her.

I got a message from my cousin. she said they are allowing houses but they will be checked.

I'll be there. Probably going to take out the wheel house tonight and setup in front of King's House, try to grab a sleepy walleye in the middle of the night. I'll move over into the contest area tomorrow morning.
