I am looking to build a 8x16 wheel house and I would like to find a shell so I can finish the inside off to my liking. I want it to have steel studs and smooth aluminum siding.

I am just wondering what all manufactures are out there who make steel studded shells. I know the big time manufacturers don't do the steel studs so maybe someone would know a smaller local company around the state. If not I am wondering who I can bring the steel studded skeleton to so they can put on a roof and the siding. I looked into Mille Lacs Customs but they will only make a 2ft V front and I would like a 3ft.

I would rather just have someone put on the shell since I have not done it before. I know many of you have done it yourselves on here and maybe it isn't that bad. Any help would be grateful, happy holidays.

I just built my own. I didnt use steel studs though. I used 2*3s built the house from the inside-out. I sprayed it then put the siding on. Finishing the inside is the tough part.

I forgot to add that using the spray foam adds an unbelievable amount of strength to the house. I also believe that steel studs will transfer moisture to the back of your paneling unless you fur it out with wood.

The wood studs actually absorb water thru the winter to make the house much heavier by the end of the season. If you don't believe me weigh it before it goes on the ice at the beginning of the season. Then when the seasons over weigh it. You won't believe how much weight was added over just a couple of months. My aluminum studs and spraying it with two part foam on the outside has made an unbelieveable light weight super strong house

Yeah I have checked out the Custom Cottages and they look nice but I guess it just isn't exactly what I was looking for. I figured that there might be a few people on here who know of some other builders out there that you don't normally come across.
